As an interactive designer, Tina does it all. From concept and design to development, she has a commanding knowledge of the field and has helped many clients with their online advertising campaigns. She relates to her clients by understanding thier priorities, staying within a budget and navigating a project from begining to end. 

Since 1997, Tina has accumulated a diverse set of skills. She has worked in the PRINT industry performing color correction, layout and production work; in the TECHNOLOGY field, designing websites and other interactive interfaces. She has developed a sound understanding of other aspects of the industry including CSS, JavaScript, ActionScript, Flash Video, Content Management, SEO and PHP & MySQL; and the MARKETING field, designing both print and online ad campaigns and promotional materials.

She has been a guest lecturer at business and educational institutions. Since attaining her MFA at Vermont College of Fine Arts she has been an adjunct professor at Central Connecticut State University and Manchester Community College. Tina was also on the planning committee for the Vermont College of Fine Arts Alumni Association implementing a temporary alumni site, a discussion forum and started their facebook community.

Sue is a natural communicator; she understands our clients’ priorities and how to navigate a project from discovery to delivery. As InSight Design Studios public face, she keeps us connected with our clients, delivering projects through the creative process with warmth and enthusiasm. Susie also helps businesses illustrate value through focused messaging and is on a mission to help generate new business opportunities for our clients.

Eleanor Thornton
Graphic Designer/Consultant

Eleanor Thornton is a designer, educator and consultant with over 20 years of experience in the field of graphic design and design-related technologies. Eleanor brings a lighthearted perspective to the table of Insight Design Studios. Her cheerfulness and spontaneity make her a remarkable conceptualist and we are thrilled to incorporate her expertise as a consultant.

Professor Thornton has been a full-time faculty member of Central Connecticut State University since1998. She has authored many courses in Computer Applications, Digital Imaging, and Three-Dimensional Imaging.  For over 10 years she has taught motion graphics, interactive multi-media and print design, and most recently 3D animation.

Her students have received numerous awards for excellence in design as well achieving  leadership positions in the fields of graphic design, interactive design and  advertising. Her most recent research and creative achievements are in the area of digital games-based learning and immersive virtual environments. Professor Thornton, together with other collaborators, has recently served the community by the creation of an interactive museum experience for children at the New Britain Museum of American Art.
